I guess I've always been an artist. For as long as I can remember I was drawing, painting, cutting, pasting, making this and creating that. My mom has boxes of my hand drawn stories that I did before I started kindergarten. Creating has always been a passion with me. I'm not happy unless I can be creative in everything I do.
After years of experimenting and trying different forms of arts and crafts I took a stained glass class and fell in love. Glass became my chosen media --- stained glass, some bead making, a little mosaics, and now fused glass. Dichroic glass is amazing! I'm having so much fun with it.
During my journey into the world of glass I've been mostly self taught. However, I have taken workshops with great glass artists like Vicki Payne, Newy Fagan, Joe Porcelli, Linda Steider and Peter McGrain to name a few. I made my very first bead with the help of Cindy Jenkins!
I've been very blessed in my pursuit of glass happiness, people have liked and purchased my glass from as far away as Australia. My glass has shipped to nearly all 50 states and worldwide including the United Kingdom, Germany, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, Greece, Hong Kong, and Japan.
